Accommodations consist of fully furnished condominiums, studios, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom suites, complete houses and Homestay with Canadian families. The options are:

HOMESTAY
Homestay allows you to live in a Canadian home as a member of the family. This type of accommodation is often chosen by students who want to improve their language skills. It has the added benefit that the Homestay Providers will help you to learn about Canadian customs and culture, find your way around the city and solve problems you might encounter living in a foreign country.
All Homestay Providers offering accommodation to minors have undergone a criminal background check and received clearance to be included in our Homestay database.
Included (unless otherwise agreed in writing):
- All or some meals according to the AP profile
- Student/guest is invited to participate in all family activities
- Private bedroom containing a bed, closet, dresser, desk or table with a lamp or adequate lighting and a chair for studying
- Bed linen, blankets and towels
- Access to common areas of the home
- Use of television and telephone (local calls only)
- Access to the family computer or wireless internet (the student/guest’s own laptop)
- Laundry or laundry supplies and access to laundry facilities
SHARED ACCOMMODATION
Shared Accommodation provides you with your own bedroom in a 2 and 3 (or more) bedroom suite or home. The other facilities, such as the kitchen, bathroom and laundry are shared. This type of accommodation is often chosen by students or professionals who are seeking an economical way to have a certain level of independence.
Included (unless otherwise agreed in writing):
- Private bedroom containing a bed, closet, dresser, desk or table with a lamp or adequate lighting and a chair for studying
- Bed linen, blankets and towels
- Shared use of the bathroom
- Use of kitchen and appliances for meal preparation
- Cutlery, utensils, pots, etc.
- Use of television and telephone (local calls only)
- Access to a computer or wireless internet (the student/guest’s own laptop)
- Access to laundry facilities
Not Included:
- Food and other consumables such as tissues, dish detergent, etc.
- Personal toiletries
- Laundry supplies
INDEPENDENT ACCOMMODATION
Independent accommodation can be a studio, a 1, 2 or 3 bedroom suite with separate entrance or a complete house. This option is primarily used by professionals, couples and families. It is also proving to be a convenient way to visit cities during major tourist events such as the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Independent Accommodation
- Is fully furnished
- Has a separate entrance
- Has a fully operational kitchen with dishes, pots and cutlery
- Is stocked with adequate bed linens, blankets and towels
